Smartmusic is free downloadable software for your computer and is also available as an iPad app (both are great, but the computer version is better). I use Smartmusic at every lesson with students. It is incredibly powerful and the best tool to help students practice better at home. Smartmusic shows you the printed music from your book on your computer screen with a highlighted cursor that floats over your notes as you play. It also listens to you play the song and will show you what notes you played correctly, wrong, and the notes you did not play, and then give you a score of how well you performed. It can speed up or slow down the songs for your practice. It can also loop sections of a song to work on, record you as you practice a song, you can save the recordings and even email them, and it can show you the fingerings of notes you do not know how to finger. Additionally it has built in tuners and other built in tools. All of that is free for the first 99 songs of your book, but if you are enjoying using Smartmusic you can access thousands of songs, books, solos, sightreading materials, etc. for a $40 yearly subscription.
In August 2013, A.R. Rahman announced that he will be producing a one-of-a-kind musical love story. He originally wanted to launch it under EROS but it became his maiden stint as a scriptwriter, producer apart from composing the original score and songs. This film is Co-Produced by Ideal Entertainment, Directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy, who is best known for the Mumbai band Scribe, and distributed by Jio Studios. The movie, 99 Songs, was finally released on April 16, 2021.
I think I perceive it to be the magnum opus of a young prodigy who has a burning desire to be a successful music composer. The hero (Ehan Bhat) has a wager to make 99 songs before he can marry his beloved debutante played by Edilsy Vargas. Veteran actors Aditya Seal, Lisa Ray, and Manisha Koirala add depth to the narrative.
Still the trusted way to connect teachers and students, MakeMusic Cloud (SmartMusic) is now in the cloud so it works with the devices your students have today. Browse hundreds of Alfred Music performance pieces and top method books available now.
This is the voice that holds our attention throughout the book, making even the preposterous acceptable, because it remains so intimate, so ordinary, so convincing. If lesbian fiction is to reach a wider readership -- as much, though far from all, of it deserves to do -- Waters is just the person to carry the banner. Less ostentatious and self-referential than Jeanette Winterson, to whom some British critics have been comparing her, she has more flair for narrative and a stronger grasp of her characters.
Again, it is the confidence and elegance of Waters's writing that saves the novel from descending into a pornographic romp; in fact, the widow's home and her bizarre life style contribute to one of the most engrossing and convincing sections of the book. The scene in which Nancy dresses up as the Roman page Antinous for the delectation of the widow's lascivious friends, and the brutal episode that follows, in which she is hurled back into the streets, are written with startling power. 2b1af7f3a8
