The player's character can pick up items as they explore the terrain, including weapons, weapons on the ground, and a small number of passive items such as potions. The player can also purchase items from shops. Wealth is gained as the player kills monsters, from gold to jewelry. Treasure is used to purchase items in shops and expand the hero character's attributes. The loot gained from encounters is split into three categories, gold, loot, and components, and those categories are split into subcategories, such as jet packs and magic stones for gold and rare books, daggers, and staves for loot, and gems, rings, cloaks, and armor for components. The game has basic equipment and equipment progression, allowing players to increase stats, add attributes, upgrade weapons, and purchase other equipment using the player's treasure. Bonuses to the stats can be obtained from certain floors or items, but the items must be created in the shop first.
