Hamachi Relayed Tunnel Easy Fix For ##TOP## Cracked

p.p.p.s. I have found this post from a few years ago which shows how to disable the direct tunnel so it is not completely easy to solve. When I go back to the client to see what is in the tunnel configuration file (the default) I do not see a direct tunnel listed.

p.s. I have tried the normal and alternate DNS servers as well as the cache servers on the gateway and it has not made any difference to the problem. Also, I have moved the port map to the firewall and still no joy. The only difference is that it can now fall back to a tunnel when the direct tunnel no longer works.

It does not seem to matter if I switch the server off and on again, reboot the server, etc. It is just on or off. I just recently noticed this and I checked the server console. The direct tunnel has disappeared but the relayed tunnel is still there.

All of a sudden today I noticed that the direct tunnel (rock solid for years) has noiw turned into a relayed tunnel with no apparent reason?I have a static port mapping with relevant firewall riules on the router and none of this has changed.I can see from the client log file that it is creating a direct tunnel and then falling back to a relayed tunnel.
