Ace is first called upon to demonstrate his powers against Mr. Freeze and his Monster Toxin. Mr. Freeze produces a kind of freeze-ray that is stronger than any meteorite or weapon Superman has at his disposal. Ace focuses and uses the technopathy in his body to create a powerful wave of wind, blowing Mr. Freeze back and rendering his explosive toxin harmless.
