There is still hope, however - it seems that there is a way to get the originals back. Go to your Music Library in the Music menu, click on Something Else and choose the Vocal tab. If you do that, you should notice that your files will appear below Ready for Syncing in a different category. I also selected Also load from following sites: Spotify, Rdio, Google Play Music and iCloud. The order you choose is crucial.
I DJ so I have a big amount of local files, a lot of which are rare and that i _need-_ the original WAV or 320 mp3 files of (exclusives that are not released, stems for production, wav masters, vinyl rips etc.) - but it seems that after trying to sync playlists across devices, Apple Music has gone ahead and deleted the originals when syncing to the cloud. They are no longer on my hard drive and only accessible by streaming from my library. This is not the case for all tracks, but for some of them. d2c66b5586
