I have been using Lightroom CC for a while now. I have had the catalog on a hard drive and all other data has been backed-up on external hard drives. In order to grow my work faster I recently purchased an internal hard drive and chose to back-up all data on the external hard drives on both computers. I did this on both computers now in order to start again I need to replace both computers as the internal laptop drive is busted. Will I have to reinstall Lightroom and such if I re-install Lightroom CC on the new computer?
I was wondering If it is possible to install an older version of lightroom on my new computer, while keeping my catalog (mlc files) and photos on the old one. I'm new to lightroom and the new version is a bit harder to use and some of the features like mobile are not supported. I heard you could enable older version of lightroom but I'm not sure if it would allow me to run my catalog without losing all the photos I have already. If I install the old version of lightroom would I be able to see my catalog on the old computer and the new computer as well? Thanks! d2c66b5586
