I was able to update a 158GB FSUIPC file between my main computer and a fSUIPC file on this additional computer. The FSUIPC file that I was able to update was 190GB which was well past its 60 GB limit. I did not do anything special to update this file. The key to the update was going into fSUIPC's settings and going into the file sharing tab. When I changed the share name in that tab to use the same name in the file box it worked.
I have successfully "made it work" after much research of forums and forumite members...... how to make it work correctly.. with only 300GB of my storage used to pack all of the required files to my FSX main computer... now all I need is a few more accounts on this computer and my FSUIPC's files show in the PILOTPC networking window......now all I need is the access to the files!!!
Updated all related files and it works. This was over 300GB of content shared between my FSX main computer and a second computer on the same router and it works. I had a subfolder called Widefs used to share the files. This was a folder where I have all the FSUIPC files I downloaded from here:
For off-road and SRV stuff you're going to want to go with FSX included from AVSIM as the NGE (native glass effect) doesn't seem to be working correctly with the laso air management feature so you'll likely be missing a large number of your servers and aircraft. The FSX managed glass effect works over much better with the added details and 3D fog and weather visuals. d2c66b5586
